Hurghada, Egypt!
A Red Sea destination on the eastern mainland of Egypt. The beach resorts and diving locations attract many European tourists, especially Russians looking for a easy getaway.
Hurghada is known for its world class diving! Unlike Dahab, a boat trip is required to reach the diving spots. Not to complain, as the typical boat trip consists of 2 dives, with a lunch in between. The underwater colors are very impressive!
Some of the best seafood of the trip was found at the local fish market, including the molokhai with shrimp, and the seafood soup!
Aside from the diving and seafood - resorts, hotels and shopping are the main attraction. If you are looking to experience the natural beauty of the red sea, without hotels and resorts, save your time and head straight to Dahab, Nuweiba and the eastern Sinai.
